Rot had completely destroyed much of the window sill and the centre mullions. However it was still viable to restore the window rather than replace it, knowing that it would be guaranteed for ten years and would in fact last indefinitely, so long as the paint finish was maintained. And we didn’t even disturb the clients beautiful Camelias.

This atrium Style window, with its glass ceiling, had badly deteriorated and required substantial timber replacements. We also took the opportunity of redesigning the sashes to eliminate the design faults that had contributed to the problems.
